Tiles Container Loading Calculator: Boxes & Pallets in 20ft / 40ft
Find out how many tile boxes and pallets fit in a 20ft or 40ft container. Tiles reach the weight limit long before the container is full, so the calculator checks both weight and space, shows the floor plan and compares 20ft with 40ft.

Why tiles hit the weight limit first
Tiles are heavy for their size: one 600×600 box weighs about 28 kg, so a 20ft container reaches its payload with only about 19 pallets on the floor, while it has room for 20.
A 40ft container has twice the floor, but its payload is about the same (often even lower). So for tiles a 40ft usually carries the same number of pallets as a 20ft, at a higher freight cost. Light wall tiles or mixed loads with light products are the exception.
How to use the container loading calculator
-
1
Choose "Fill a container" to see what fits in one 20ft or 40ft, or "Order to containers" to see how many containers an order needs.
-
2
Pick the tile size for each product. Box weight, boxes per pallet and pallet size fill in with typical values; change them to match your packing list.
-
3
Add more products for a mixed load and set the quantity of each, or let one product "Fill the rest". The order of the products is the loading order.
-
4
Check the floor plan, which limit applied (weight or space) and the 20ft vs 40ft comparison. Copy the result for WhatsApp or save it as a PDF for your CHA.
